Privacy policy
This policy describes which personal data is processed on aglaiacosplay.com. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Controller
Aglaia Cosplay – Email: contact [at] aglaiacosplay [dot] com
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by cyon AG in Basel on servers in Switzerland. For every request, the server stores technical data (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser and operating system). This data is used to operate the website securely and is deleted after the host's retention period; details are described by cyon in the article “Storage and retention of log data” (in German).
3. Contact form
When you use the contact form, your name, email address, topic and message are sent to me by email so that I can reply. Enquiries are not stored in a database on this website and are not passed on to third parties. They are sent via the hosting provider's mail server in Switzerland. I keep the emails for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
4. Spam protection
The form is protected against automated submissions by a hidden field and a timing check. To limit abuse, an irreversible, encrypted value derived from your IP address is stored for no more than 24 hours. No external CAPTCHA service is used.
5. Cookies
This website only sets one technically necessary cookie called “lang”, which remembers your language choice (German or English) for one year. There are no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and therefore no cookie banner.
6. Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
The social networks are included as simple links only. Visiting this website does not transfer any data to Meta, TikTok or Google, and no content from these services is embedded. Only when you click a link do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply, who may also process data outside Switzerland.
7. Fonts
Fonts are loaded from this server, not from Google or other providers.
8. Your rights
You have the right to information about your personal data, as well as to correction, deletion and objection. Just send me an email. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if the GDPR applies, a supervisory authority in the EU.
